BOOTH DISPLAYS: Although tents are not required, it is strongly encouraged. All tents must be 10×10 and well kept, flame retardant and anchored on all four legs by NO LESS THAN 10lb weights the entire time at the market with inventory/display material/equipment within the confines of your tent. BOOTH ASSIGNMENTS: Booth assignments will be determined by market management. On the day of the market event, the market manager will show you to your predetermined booth space.
BOOTH CLEANLINESS: Vendors must keep a clean area in and around their booth spaces throughout the day. All vendor trash must be bagged and carried off by the vendor at the end of the market as there are no available trash receptacles/dumpsters/bins and your space grounds clean upon departing. Smoking is not permitted in booth spaces, your or any others, during market hours. Smokers must go to areas around the perimeter of the market. Out of courtesy to property owners, do not discard the filter on property grounds.
BOOTH FEES AND CANCELLATION: Market Management must be notified by email for canceling a market event prior to the start of the market opening or the booth space will be charged. All vendors at their discretion receive one missed market at no charge per calendar year as long as the vendor emails the market prior to the morning of the opening of that market (i.e. family emergency, illness, significantly inclement weather) For missed markets thereafter, booth space fees will be charged. At the discretion of market management, excessive missed markets or a no show/no call vendor will result in vendor expulsion. A missed market not only creates missed opportunities for other potential vendors, but lessens product offerings to the patrons. There is a $20 charge for returned checks. Any fees due the market must be paid before the vendor is cleared to return for market participation.
WEATHER: Wildlight Market Place operates in all weather conditions. The only exception is in the event of a declared State of Emergency impacting the immediate area, at which time Wildlight Management may elect to cancel and notify vendors in advance. Otherwise, there are no refunds for inclement weather.
SETUP: Setup hours are from 7:00am to 8:30am. All vendors need to plan travel, offloading and setup time so you are FULLY and COMPLETELY setup, ready for sales at 8:30. The 8:30am setup deadline will be strictly enforced. The market officially opens at 9:00am. Be courteous to vendors setting up beside you.
SIMPLE SETUP STEPS:
- From SR 200 (A1A), Enter Wildlight Ave (Wildlight entrance). Turn RIGHT on Homegrown Way (behind Tasty’s). Turn LEFT on Floco Ave. Turn LEFT on Tinker St (market area). Check in with on-site Market Manager.
- Drive to your booth space, park as close to your area away from the middle of the road as possible and QUICKLY unload the contents of your vehicle, placing items at the BACK of your booth space.
- Park your vehicle offsite and return to setup you booth. This keeps traffic flow moving.
BREAKDOWN: Vendors may breakdown their booths no earlier than 1:00pm under no circumstances. Vehicles are allowed to enter market area when safe of market customers, typically 1:15pm. Please be cautious at all times. The vendor’s booth should be sized-down, broken-down and minimized including tent BEFORE bringing the vehicle onsite. Be courteous to other vendors beside you. Enter the market area the same way you arrived in the morning from the East side of Tinker Street (from Floco Ave). Once loaded, exit Tinker St onto Wildlight Ave. The traffic flow is always the same.
ONSITE TRAFFIC: No vehicles permitted on areas of market operation between 8:30am and 1:15pm unless authorized in advance by market management. ALWAYS enter from A1A into the Wildlight entrance, pass the Rayonier Building and take a right turn around the parking area and enter the market on East side of Tinker Street. This pattern will keep traffic flowing and minimize congestion. Be quick with unloading to lessen traffic backup.
PARKING: Parking is available for vendors away from market area and behind the Rayonier Building.
ELECTRIC ACCESS: Only approved vendors can access electric. No more than 3 plugs per vendor. Vendors are responsible for electric strips and extension cords. 10 gauge cords are recommended. High amperage equipment like space heaters is not permitted. Quiet, low decibel generators are allowed with market approval. Market Management reserves the right to limit or deny electric usage if it is deemed to interfere with market operations. Please report any electric issues to onsite market management.
